A London Group Exhibition
10-13 September 2026
Private View: Saturday 12 September, 2-6pm
Forty-six painters. Forty-six ways of making. One exhibition.
Unpeeled is the first London exhibition by painter painter, a collective of 46 artists formed through
the Turps Banana Correspondence Course 2025/26, one of the UK's leading independent painting
programmes.
Developed through a year of critical dialogue and exchange, the exhibition presents new work by
painters at different stages of their careers, each with their own approach. As a collective, painter
painter is shaped by conversation as much as by individual studio practice. Rather than proposing
a single theme or aesthetic, Unpeeled embraces plurality, creating space for diverse ways of making, visual thinking and looking.
