We’re currently hosting ‘Here Comes The Sun’, created and curated by Jo de Pear. This exhibition of Cyanotypes showcases the past two years of experimentation and exploration. Inspired by the beautiful light of the Caribbean, Jo uses the tropical flora and fauna to make her striking and memorable ‘Sunprints’. Each one is totally unique and not part of an edition. Open daily from 11 am to 6 pm.
By layering and moving her subject matter under the Antiguan Sun, the leaves are left to cast their long shadows in the breeze and the burnt blue hues draw you into another world. Each piece is a sort of dance between the sun, time and the intentions of the artist. The blues may deepen, the whites may fade and it all comes down to precision meeting nature.
